Weird Habit
I would like to give a big big thank you for the creative team or whoever is behind the makers of google maps. I love it.
I love looking at the areas of foreign places to me. Or seeing the distance on how long it would take me to get to one place or another. I began studying for my history class and a portion of it is on cities and rivers on the map so I have one of the tabs already prepared for when I hit that section of studying. Long boring story short I ended up looking up how Little Rock Central High looked like on the map.
Maybe it is the fact that my mind is a big pile of mush containing history and speech terms and my butt feels like it is permanently infused with the cushion of my seat, which is causing a much more dramatic fascination of google maps considering I have not had human interaction for most of the day.
But geez is that neatttoooo. At one point with the click of my mouse I can be placed underneath the Eiffel Tower and the next casually staring at Little Rock Central High then next I can go chill in Sydney by the opera house.
Ahh I can’t wait to finally travel. There is just so much to explore and I’m just grateful that something like google maps keeps me on my toes in anticipation for that moment of seeing the real thing.
Today was a good feeling day.
It began….
I woke up to the most sexy, red blotched, peeling and scrumptious skin on my face this morning. I never really use foundation, but they had this sale at CVS that was like buy 2 and another one free of the Physicians Formula Organic brand so my mom gave me the free one she got. I got scared at the timing it would take to do this so I quickly did it like how I think it should be done and nothing really changed. So I put some more. Nothing. A little more. Nothing. I kept putting more until I realized my neck was 5 shades lighter than my face. So I looked at the time and had about 45 minutes left till I had to go to school. I washed scraped that stuff off. Did my usual eyeliner and some mascara PLUS A NEW EDITION TO MY MORNING ROUTINE…wait for it…wait for it…… some eyeshadow. Because I want to go a little crazy. I then tried another attempt at the foundation. And was too tired to critic the result and just grabbed my breakfast and left.
I knew I was going to like the subjects of my Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I think I may have fallen in love with them. Or at least class environment/people wise, my SPEECH CLASS?!!!?!?!? I proudly sit by Ashley and from the brief discussions and comments I heard from that class, I know it is going to be fun. YESSS! I also sat right in front of this really cute guy, strategically! Because just in case the teacher was going to go, “Okay introduce or exchange contact information with the people around you.”
My English class seems very interesting. The teacher is very engaging and motivating, now that’s my kind of learning! *Thumbs Up* I should have picked my seat better though. Even though there is no assigned seating, there is an unspoken rule that once you find your seat, that is usually your seat through out the rest of the semester, or in that seating area. I wanted to seat near this girl and guy that I kind of knew from a previous class but looked really fun. hmmmm, I’ll find a way to sit in that area.
I got home expected to have my internet connected and accessable to my laptop. My mom got a new router that she thought I knew how to install. Usually my Uncle George (this uncle’s real, but is not my blood relative) installs all the computer stuff so I just shrugged it off and said let’s just ask him.
I went to work and had a very great conversation with my co worker. She is seriously has such a beautiful perception of live. I usually don’t talk a lot about personal stuff, but it was really easy just to talk to her and relate in some ways.
Part of the conversation from my coworker to night made me decide to do something at home. It was something about independence (I don’t really want to go into in because I want to end this blog soon because I stink and need to shower. STRAIGHT UP).
I went home and read that instruction manual did the steps and installed the router, made a new wifi network and now I am able to type this. I am technology illiterate at times and I am just very happy I did it. I don’t need a man to get the job done. I can take care of my own router.
It was a good feeling day. :)
So I got this for Christmas. It’s basically a wannabe Flip. I stopped making wittle video clips Sophomore year because it’s tiring and I don’t really know of anything to Vlog about. So instead of simply typing up my 2010 summary I was going to simply make a quick video. But Crap that’s difficult and I am only getting used to using the Movie Maker on this laptop. And all I am doing is talking and showing pictures! haha. I was supposed to post it right now but yea, that’s not going to happen. I am not in that much of the mood. But Nevertheless, it will be up whether at the end of the week or February.
Yea, I’m pretty slow technology.
